Time to go home, Tojo

The death of Malka had been hard on them all. The cubs cried all day and the lionesses did their best to console them. They gathered around Malka's limp body from morning and by afternoon, they had no more tears to cry. The lionesses and the little ones went home to the Highlands first. Soon it was just Tojo and Chumvi left. The three brothers for just a while longer. The silence lay heavily around them. There were no words. As night began to fall, Chumvi nudged Tojo. 'It's getting dark. Time to go home, Tojo,' he said. With one last look at Malka, they turned and left, leaving their third brother forever.
